Discomfort varies by person, but most clients find it very manageable. To minimize discomfort: avoid caffeine before your appointment, take an over-the-counter pain reliever 30 minutes before, and try to schedule outside of your menstrual cycle when skin can be more sensitive.
We recommend waiting 24-48 hours after intimate waxing services. Avoid hot baths, saunas, swimming, and intense exercise for 24 hours to prevent irritation.
You can still keep your appointment! Just wear a fresh tampon or menstrual cup. Many clients do this regularly. However, keep in mind you may be more sensitive during this time.
