Waxing FAQ's
Less than you fear, and less each visit. We use a gentle hard wax that grips hair rather than skin, our estheticians work fast, and hair grows back finer with regular waxing, so appointments get easier over time.
About a quarter inch - roughly 10 to 14 days of growth after shaving. If it is longer, do not trim it yourself; your esthetician will handle it.
Most clients stay smooth for three to four weeks. Rebooking every four to five weeks keeps hair in a consistent growth cycle, which means faster, more comfortable appointments.
Both remove hair from the root and both are on our menu at every salon. Sugaring uses a paste of sugar, lemon and water that can be gentler on sensitive skin. If you are torn, read our sugaring vs waxing guide or ask your esthetician.
Exfoliate lightly the day before, skip caffeine right before if you are nervous, and wear comfortable clothes. See our first-timer guide for everything else.
